Consultation Fees for private fee paying Clients:

60-minute initial consultation – $150
45-minute review consultation – $100
30-minute review consultation – $80

Consultation Fees for NDIS Funded Clients:
Each appointment is priced according to the NDIS pricing arrangements:

60-minute initial consultation – $193.99
45-minute review consultation – $145.5
30-minute review consultation – $96.99

Rebates & Funding

Private Health Fund Rebates

Melanie is a registered provider with all major health funds, which means you may be able to claim a rebate through your health fund depending on your level of extras cover. Rebates vary so contacting your private health provider before making an appointment is recommended. The Item code is 301 for an initial Telehealth consult and 302 for a review Telehealth consult.

Registered Medicare Provider

Medicare rebates are available for children with a chronic condition. You can ask your Doctor if your child qualifies for this program (Chronic Disease Management Plan/ Enhanced Primary Care Plan), as you can receive up to 5 rebates of $58.30 within a 12-month period for consultations.

Please ensure this referral is emailed to Melanie prior to your appointment.

Claiming your Medicare rebate:

Clients are required to pay the full cost of the consultation at the time of the consultation. Following full payment, the Medicare rebate of $58.30 will be processed. *Please note, Melanie does not Bulk Bill.

National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS)

Melanie is not a registered NDIS service provider. However, she does welcome NDIS participants who are plan-managed or self-managed.

Payment Methods
  • Appointment invoices will be emailed following the appointment. Payments are required on the day of your appointment by direct deposit into Melanie Bouras’ chosen bank account.
  • NDIS plan managed clients: Melanie will email the invoice to your plan manager.  The invoice should be paid within 7 days of the appointment.
  • Families coming with a Chronic Disease Management Plan /Enhanced Primary Care Plan (Medicare referral), are required to pay in full on the day. Once the invoice is paid, the rebate of $58.30 can be processed.

Cancellation and Failure to Attend Appointment Policy

  1. You may cancel or reschedule your appointment without charge, 24 hours before your appointment. Please text Melanie on 0435 328 025 to cancel the appointment, or call or email Melanie to reschedule.
  2. Cancellations or reschedules within 24 hours* of your appointment will be charged 50% of the scheduled service fee.
  3. If you do not call to cancel your appointment or do not show up for your scheduled appointment, you will be charged the full fee for the scheduled service.
  4. Cancellation fees are due within 14 days.
  5. Cancellations fees may be waived for medical emergencies. Proof may be required.
  6. Cut off times for arriving online for your appointment are 15 minutes for a 60-minute consultation, and 10 minutes for a 30 or 45 minute consultation. If you arrive prior to these cut off times your consultation will go ahead for the full fee, but your consultation time will be reduced. If you arrive after these cut off times, your consultation will NOT proceed and you must pay for the consultation in full as per the policy above. To avoid this, all you need to do is reach out to Melanie via SMS and let her know you are running late.

*This policy is strictly enforced and covers Private, Medicare and NDIS funded plans.
